Coming up...

6 March - Kathy Corner - Cycling on the Roof of the World - 7:30pm
(Venue: Rose City Aquatic Club Rooms, 50 Park Road, Palmerston North)

In September 2011 Kathy Corner and 10 other Kiwis cycled across the 'Roof of the World' from Lhasa to Kathmandu. They cycled through some spectacular scenery, over 5000m passes and visited some amazing monasteries en route. Come along and hear about this trip of a life time. The oldest person on the trip was 71 so don't ever say you are too old to do something!
We look forward to seeing you there.

3 April 2012 - Greg Reeve - Reading the weather signs, old wives tales and other weather sayings
(Venue: Rose City Aquatic Club Rooms, 50 Park Road, Palmerston North)

A NOT TO BE MISSED CLUB NIGHT FOR EVERYONE WHO VENTURES INTO THE OUTDOORS
The weather is dear to all our hearts as we plan our outdoor trips and a major consideration for our risk management. Here is the chance to come along and hear Ohakea based weather expert Greg Reeve from Metservice speak about 'Reading the weather signs, old wives tales and other weather sayings'.
