Maintenance of Manawatu Lodge relies on the efforts of club members. This year we continued with the refurbishment of more bunk rooms, added more insulation, and did some interior work. Please think about how you could help out next summer - Your help will be greatly appreciated! The extreme conditions on the mountain mean that we have limited time to complete maintenance, particularly outside the lodge. Accomodation during workparties is free, as is transport to and from the mountain in the minibus. Where travel in the minibus is not feasible (e.g. you do not live in Palmerston North) then transport may be subsidised.

Hundreds of kilograms of food was carried over to the lodge, more underfloor insulation was added, and some general maintenance was carried out in preparation for another stunning ski season on the mountain.
